Patient News - Gayle's Story

I was "HOT", I was "BLOATED", I was "FAT", I was "CRANKY".  I had been in this state for well over a year.  I had been diagnosed as "Peri-menopausal" by my Doctor.  Obviously my hormones were having a party and I wasn't invited.  All these things combined were affecting my ability to be the happy, go-lucky person that I used to be, and hoped, could again be one day.

I had been living in a hot place for a long time, it was getting worse, and for the last few months I was constantly there with no let up.  It had made me feel nauseous, dizzy, unable to sleep, and just

generally feeling very unwell.

At this time I had also been experiencing being bloated, regardless of what exercise I did or food I ate.  Part of this was suffering constantly from reflux and indigestion.

Slowly over the last few years with all the above going on I was also constantly gaining weight.  It didn't matter if I was living on the smell of a lettuce leaf, or gutsing myself, it was a very slow gradual weight gain  and nothing I did seemed to help.  At this time I was a member of T.O.W.N.  Club of Tootgarook, trying to control my weight gain, as this was an area of my being that I hated.  Then one night at the club we were having a guest speaker, in walked Emma Stimpson, Naturopath.

Emma introduced and explained a little about herself and what she does, and how she could help.  Within 30 seconds of listening to Emma, I was wanting to make an appointment.  This was to be a turning point for me.

A couple of very simple tests to begin with, nothing obstrusive, then on to some natural medicines.  These I found very interesting, some easy to swallow, some not so easy to swallow!!! Followed by some very easy and basic changes to my eating habits.

Within two weeks of my first visit, I was no longer feeling hot constantly, within approximately a month, my heat issues were over.  At this same time, I started to feel happier within myself, and found I could deal with things a lot easier, and didn't have that cranky feeling with me all the time.  At about 8 weeks I noticed that all my bloating issues were gone also.  At this point I am very slowly losing weight.  I figure it took a long time to put on, so it will take a long time to take off.  My goal is to lose weight and that will be a work in progress.

I have been under the influence of Emma now for three months, and feel fantastic.  Everything I was suffering has now changed.

I am no longer "HOT", "BLOATED", "CANKY", still a little "FAT", however i know that will change.  I feel "FANTASTIC" and am again loving life.  I am definitely back to the happy go-lucky person that I was a few years back, all thanks to Emma Stimpson, her wonderful manner and diagnosis of my issues.
